The Advanced Placement Biology Field Trip
to the Corner Brook Caves
What
you see in this background is the entrance to the cave. It is called the
dry entrance because the water no longer flows through this area. Most
of the ceiling has collapsed causing the river to flow through another
part of the cave.
The
dry entrance is about 100 m. long and will take you to into the Compass
Room where the river flows through the cave.
