Envirothon
Envirothon is a competitive program for high school. Teams of five students challenge other teams on topics that relate to aquatics, soils, forestry, wildlife, and a special topic chosen by the host site. This year's special topic is wetland nmanagement.

My team is composed of my Advanced Placement Biology students and two students from Grade 11.  We have competed at the Nova Scotia Envirothon Competition   andand  to our suprise, we finished fifth.  Of the three components involved in the Envirothon competition, we won the oral presentation phase. There were 11 teams at this competition and most teams have been involved in this competitions in previous years.

Now we prepare for the International Competition to be held at Acadia University. July 31-August 7th. If you would like to see some of the pictures we took,
