This is the second year that I have run an inventors mini-course at my school. Last year, 15 students took part and several inventions went to the Western Regional Science Fair. One of these inventions went to the National Science Fair .

This years, we ran the same mini-course but the numbers were so great that we divided the students amongst three teachers. We will be well represented again this year at the Western regional Science Fair.

Some of our inventors displayed their inventions at the first Invention Convention held in Deer Lake. The Invention Convention was an opportunity for all students in District Three School Board to display their talents and creativity to the public in a non-competitive format.
